Every year, IEEE members from IEEE Sections, Student Branches, Affinity Groups, and Society Chapters join hands to celebrate IEEE Day. This year, IEEE Day took place on October 4, 2022. It is always the first Tuesday in October.with the theme “Leveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow”, The student branch of the University of Vavuniya successfully celebrated IEEE day on 6th October 2022, in the technology lecture hall. It involved over 150 students from the Faculty of Technology. We organized this event specially for them as they are newcomers to university culture. During the event, they were encouraged to participate in fun activities, team-building activities, and to learn about IEEE from the Lecturers of the Faculty of Technology and the Student Branch Counselor.
