The first webinar organized by the MTTS in year 2022 was Introduction to Microwave Engineering webinar. The keynote speaker of the webinar was Prof. Aruna Gunawardana attached to the departmnet of Electrical and Electronic Engineering faculty of Engineering University of Peradeniya. The session was conducted successfully via the zoom flatform with 50+ participants. The session was started by correctly defining what are microwaves and the areas covered by the session were microwaves applications Special techniques of microwave engineering Getting started with microwave engineering What we have done so far. At the end a Q&A session was conducted to clarify the questions and problems of participants. Q&A session remarked the conclusion of the session. Participants got a fresh exposure to microwave engineering techniques.
