The IEEE Student Board of Sabaragamuwa University in Sri Lanka conducted IEEE Day 2022 with the main purpose of raising awareness about what IEEE is and the benefits that come with being a member of this global organization. In addition, participants' doubts concerning IEEE were answered to and few other activities was scheduled such as an IEEE quiz challenge and an interactive awareness session was arranged with speakers from the IEEE Sri Lanka Section and a few other IEEE speakers from Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. Then an IEEE quiz competition was organized (open to all attendees) to let the participants share their knowledge while competing with each other. In addition, some enjoyable mini items have been planned to present attendees with a truly unforgettable IEEE day experience. The top priorities of the program was to develop awareness among new members, build passion among the participants for IEEE, and increase the number of members gathering around the IEEE Student Branch of Sabaragamuwa University and its activities.
