The task of this competition was to enhance the knowledge on Phasor Measurement Units (PMU) from industry experts. PMU in power systems provides a detailed and accurate view of power quality across a wide geographic grid. In this workshop, there are 3 major parts. Explore fundamentals of PMUs Practical application of PMUs Investigating future trends of PMUs The competition was opened for engineering undergraduate students, postgraduate students and any graduate students who graduated within the past 3 years from a Sri Lankan University.
