Discussion Tharaka Munasinghe presented meeting minutes for the month of October. Ashan Bandara proposed that the meeting minutes are in order and Sewwandie Nanayakkara seconded it. As the first point of discussion in the agenda, the update of the Volunteer Training and Development team was given by Sewwandie Nanayakkara. The team is currently working on the PDP plan where version 01 is drafted and ready to send out to the volunteers. Furthermore, the team plans to conduct a social media management session in collaboration with the Marcom team within the coming month. Next, the update of the Finance team was presented by Ashan Bandara. A discussion on printing YPSL T-shirts for volunteers was also initiated. It was suggested to have the required t-shirt count to give it away for print as soon as possible. Updates of the other subcommittees - partnership, Marcom, and Platform were provided respectively by Manodya Nabadawewa, Dilini Ekanayake, and Mithushan Jalangan. Chamodhi Withanagamage presented the update for Member Benefits and Opportunities team. Thereafter, the update on the people management team was provided by Tharaka Munasinghe where it was informed that the volunteer of the month program will be executed from the month of December onwards, and similarly the team availability and spent hour tracking will also commence after providing a brief introduction to the project chairs. After getting the updates from subcommittees, the meeting concluded at 00 30hrs after a friendly chat with the exco members.
