‘TuneIT’ Radio Design Workshop and Competition

‘TuneIT’ the Radio Design Workshop and Competition was organized by the IEEE ComSoc Student Branch Chapter of the University of Peradeniya in collaboration with the Radio Society of Sri Lanka. The workshop consisted of a lecture series on Radio Technology, an interactive practical session with Radio equipment, a fox hunt and finally the competition. The lecture series and interactive practical session was conducted by the Radio Society of Sri Lanka. The main purpose of the workshop was to give the participants an insight to the basics of Radio Technology and involve them in a practical session for them to get a further understanding as well as hands on experience on radio technology and equipment. Groups made of five members were then evaluated in the competition and prizes as well as certificates were awarded for the winners.
