The prize-giving for the event was held in two parts: Awarding the Winners of the Technical Article Writing Competition Awarding the winners of the Digital Art Competition The winners of the Technical Article Writing Competition were awarded 10000 LKR each for the three categories. The winners along with their respective categories are as follows: Artificial Intelligence (AI) Category - Joshiga Ravikumar from Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka Engineering Category - Dunumalage Hansani Upeksha Gunarathne from Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka Privacy and Security Category - Madhunicka Mathanamohan from the University of Ruhuna The winners of the Digital Art Competition were awarded 5000 LKR each under the two categories. The winners and their respective categories are as follows: Best Digital Art Category - Mihindu Kulasooriya Sithija Lakshan Pinthu from Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka Most Popular Digital Art Category - K.G.R Kaweesha from Rajarata University Sri Lanka It should be noted that all the winners of the articles writing competition and the best digital art competition were selected by a professional judge panel which included university lecturers and industry experts. All the entries were anonymously submitted to the panel assuring the competitors that it was their true talent and creativity which was being evaluated. The judging panel was composed of the following personnel: Article Writing (Artificial Intelligence Category) - Dr K.P.P.S Pathirana, a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Uva Wellassa University and Mr D.D.B Senanayake, a lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Uva Wellassa University Article Writing (Engineering Category) - Dr R.M.T.C.B Ekanayake, a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Uva Wellassa University and Mr A.R.P.C.C.J Amarasinghe a lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Uva Wellassa University Article Writing (Privacy and Security Category) - Dr M. Ramashini, a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Uva Wellassa University and Mr T Thevathayaraj a lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Uva Wellassa University Digital Art (Best Digital Art) - Mr Akila Weerakoon, Senior UX Designer at the Cloud Solutions International and Mr Rasika Warnasuriya, Lead UI/UX Designer at the Azend Technologies We had a special editorial panel to look at the all publication works. The editorial panel along with the help above judges selected the articles and interviews to be published out of 100+ articles which we received. Along with the monetary prizes, the winners were also awarded with swag packs from sponsoring and partnering organizations for the event. Each winner was awarded with swag items from Creative Software and Zone 24X7 appreciating their efforts.
