The Workshop on “Create Your First Ever NFT” of TECHZER was held on the 11 th of September 2022 virtually with the participation of the honourable workshop instructor, Mr. Sharmilan Somasundaram and the participants from all-island-wide universities, schools and technology enthusiasts. The participants who participated until the end of the workshop was rewarded with NFT badges from Niftron which was the blockchain partner of the project TECHZER. The Workshop Instructor, Mr. Sharmilan Somasundaram is the Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer at Niftron which is a Blockchain as a service platform that recently won the SAARC startup award, and a blockchain consultant/advisor for multiple organizations and startups globally. He has 5+ years of experience in Decentralized application solution architecture and development and helps businesses and organizations to build trust through blockchain and become pioneers in their industries. Also a certified Blockchain Solution Architect. He is the co-organizer of the Colombo Blockchain Meetup and Colombo Blockchain Summit. Sharmilan has delivered more than 50+ blockchain talks and conducted sessions at universities, organizations, conferences and meetups. His expertise was very beneficial for the participants to gain the best knowledge of this aspect. The Workshop was conducted virtually with the participation of a resource person to provide practical knowledge on some elements of Blockchain Technology such as NFT, cryptocurrency etc. for the participants. Prior to the workshop, a workshop resource pack was launched as a guide for the registrants to sharpen their knowledge in Blockchain.
