The IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter of SLTC introduced CodeMania v3.0 as the second phase of the Month of CodeGeniX 2022 project series, aiming to provide a platform for undergraduates to show their coding skills logically and creatively within a competitive mindset. Therefore, we intend to commence the whole project on the 25th of October 2022, gathering all IT enthusiasts in SLTC, and providing a physical hackathon competition experience for the first time in SLTC history. Moreover, we planned to launch this CodeMania v3.0 code competition from 7.00 PM onwards as a 12-hour-long algorithmic coding Hackathon and planned to check our competitors coding knowledge in any coding language, providing 10 to 12 problem sets in every hour via the HackerRank platform. To make this event more successful we have planned to invite Mr. Heminda Jayaweera and Mr. Subarshan Thiyagarajah as guest speakers for the competition of more than 120+ participants. So, with the “Codemania v3.0” project, we hope to level up the CodeMania v3.0 hackathon series to one of the main hackathons in Sri Lanka within the next three years and hope to provide more opportunities for the undergraduates to step into the IT industry.
