The IEEE Sri Lanka Section Student | Young Professionals | Women In Engineering Congress 2022 (IEEE SLSYWC 2022) and the IEEE CS SYP Global Congress 2022, organized under the theme "Rebuild for Resilience". This year the Congress held a 3 day conference for young and enthusiastic IEEE volunteers in the section with a glimpse of the opportunities available for the youth to help rebuild Sri Lanka whilst also exposing them to a broader scope of volunteering, occupations, academe, and culture. The event was organized in such a way as to provide the participants with the opportunity to interact with fellow undergraduates around the island, expand their knowledge and improve skills such as leadership, teamwork, and strategizing whilst also having fun. Furthermore, the IEEE CS SYP Global Congress 2022 being the very first Global IEEE Congress to be held in Sri Lanka, provided all the participants with the opportunity to interact with tech enthusiasts worldwide. The Congress had a positive impact in the form of feedback from the participants, social media reactions and awareness and recognition, as well as potential membership growth for the IEEE. It also provided a platform for collaborations with industries and other IEEE entities, resulting in increased opportunities for the youth to contribute towards rebuilding the country in a resilient manner.
