Nuwaragala, in Dimbulagala of Polonnaruwa District, is a village with about 2000 residents. Up to now, no purified water provision has happened in this area even if it belongs to a highly critical region. A clean and convenient water supply is essential for society’s public health and well-being. Drinking enough filtered water every day is also a good way to prevent kidney stones from forming. A water filtration system may be the answer and the most economical solution to facilitate safe drinking water to the large community. The installation of the filter will be done at a common water source (well) which has the capacity to provide water to the above number of people.
