The JamborIEEE 2023 event organized by the three student branches of the University of Moratuwa, University of Vocational Technology and NSBM Green University was a great accomplishment. The event provided attendees with an opportunity to learn from experienced IEEE representatives through the IEEE Experience Sharing Session by Samitha Wijesundera and the Membership Development Session on "Myths about IEEE" by Mr. Kulunu Chakshana.
Agenda
The event began with an informative IEEE Experience Sharing Session by Samitha Wijesundera, Vice-chair of Collaborative Activities Sub-Committee at SLSAC. The session provided valuable insights and inspiration to the attendees. After the session, a tea break was organized for the attendees, which was followed by a nice entertainment session. The next session was a Membership Development Session on the topic "Myths about IEEE" by Mr.Kulunu Chakshana, Section Student Representative. The session was insightful and provided attendees with a better understanding of IEEE membership. After the session, a group photo was taken, and the attendees were divided into groups for two outboundary sessions, which provided an opportunity for students to interact with each other. The event concluded with a Thank you speech, and attendees left with new learnings and connections in the IEEE community. Overall, JamborIEEE 2023 was a well-organized and enjoyable event that successfully achieved its goals.
