Description

The Mobile Application Development Workshop has been organized by the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Vavuniya on 05th November 2022 from 9.30 a.m. to 11.05 A.M. via zoom. The workshop included all levels of students from the Faculty of Applied Science and Faculty of Technological Studies of University of Vavuniya. The workshop was held successfully with a large number of students. Which was commenced under the full guidance of Student Branch Counselor Ms. P. Shorubiga The resource person was Mr. Erandra Jayasundara, Associate Tech Lead at MiHCM. He discussed the Declarative UI with Jetpack @Compose and presented basic Android Studio demonstrations. In addition to that everyone was updated on recent career opportunities by him. After that Q & A session happened with active participants very interactively. It was an engaging and insightful workshop for all the participants. Then Miss. P. Shorubiga thanked the resource person after the vice chair gave the resource person a token of appreciation. Next, the event was winded up with a vote of thanks from the student branch chair. Finally, the workshop was summed up with a photography session as a memo of the event.
