With the number of Student Branches increasing across the island, it is vital that the section contributes towards maintaining the quality of the student network and the activities carried out by each Student Branch. The proper operation of a branch runs through the executive hierarchy which operates for the benefit of student members. With that in mind, IEEE Sri Lanka Section Student Activities Committee (IEEE SLSAC) initiated the Officer Training Program with the guidance of IEEE Sri Lanka Section Executive Committee back in 2017. A brief idea about the proper maintenance of an ACTIVE Student Branch and the duties of each executive office-bearer can be found in this document which was shared during a previous year’s event. It also outlines the necessary details regarding vTools which are used for all mandatory reporting requirements.
