Product Pitching – 4th Workshop in the Brainstorm ’23 workshop series

The fourth workshop of the Brainstorm ’23 workshop series “Product Pitching” conducted in collaboration with Twinery, Innovations by MAS was successfully held on the 14th of May 2023 from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm at the HIVE Auditorium at Twinery, Innovations by MAS, Colombo 10. The workshop commenced at 9.00 a.m. and Sashni De Silva from Twinery gave the attendees a welcome and provided an introduction to the speaker and the contents of the workshop. Then, the speakers Mr. Amila Pathirana commenced his presentation on pitching a product which covered aspects related to creating the pitch, what areas of the product needed highlighting and the way to present effectively. Following the presentation, an interactive session was conducted by considering examples from the currently competing teams and providing them with tips on how to improve their product pitch and what to include. Following the conclusion of the workshop session, the guidelines for the finals of Brainstorm 2023 were provided by Senul Samarasekera from the organising committee and the event was concluded following the vote of thanks by Shaleen Johar from Twinery, Innovations by MAS.
