LAZARUS 2.0 was an event organized by the Power and Energy Society of IEEE Student Branch of SLIIT which was held on the 29th of July at SLIIT premises. It was organized to help undergraduates of engineering and IT enter to the industry by bridging the knowledge gap between an undergraduate and what is required by the industry. This event mainly comprised of an innovative ideathon competition called “EIDOS” where the winner and runners-up were announced and awarded prizes under the two categories “The most outstanding innovative idea” and “The most popular innovative idea”. The latter part of the event comprised of three guest speaker sessions conducted by professionals in the industry who are highly experienced in this field of study.
