The third Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2023 of the IEEE Computer Society of Kelaniya University was held concurrently with the Annual General Meeting of the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Kelaniya on 09th August at 10 A.M. in the Faculty of Science at the University of Kelaniya. The meeting began with the resignation of last year's office-bearers of the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Kelaniya. After appointing the new office bearers for 2023, the newly appointed Chairperson of IEEE Student Branch, Mr. Warunajith Bandara, allowed appointing the Chairperson for the IEEE Computer Society of the University of Kelaniya. There onwards, the Chairperson of the Computer Society, Mr. Ashaka Gunarathne, continued the AGM. Mr. Warunajith Bandara as the Vice-Chair, Ms. Harshika Sandamini as the Secretary, Mr. Masith Pramuditha as the Treasurer, and other office-bearers appointed. The executive committee for the new term of the IEEE Computer Society of the University of Kelaniya took up their positions. The Computer Society Chair, Ms. Anusha Jayalath, addressed the gathering with her thoughts about the Computer Society and the plans for the new term. With the commencement of the new term Ms. Himani Perera was appointed as the Secretary, Mr. Dinuka Ekanayake as the Vice-Chair, Mr. Uditha Jayalath as the Treasurer, and other office-bearers appointed.
