The following three enthusiastic female engineers took part in the discussion. Ms. Devika Abeysuriya, Director General (Engineering), Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Aviation Ms. Thejani Yapa, Lead Engineer, Network Analytics and Automation Support Division, Dialog Axiata PLC Ms. Lanka Perera, Electrical Engineer, Ceylon Electricity Board The main focus of the discussion was, healthy work-life balance. After the discussion a competition was held. Participants were divided into groups and asked them to identify a problem faced by women in their workplaces and discuss possible solutions within 15 minutes. After that each group was given the opportunity to present their findings within two minutes. Presentations were evaluated by the invited speakers and ex-com members. Each of the invited speaker was awarded a token of appreciation as a recognition of their remarkable journey, their time and support given to successfully conduct the session.
