PYHACK 2.0: A Remarkable Coding Odyssey! PYHACK 2.0 was nothing short of spectacular, a coding event that left its mark on all who participated. Beyond the coding competition that had everyone on the edge of their seats, we delved into a world of knowledge, collaboration, and celebration. What Made PYHACK 2.0 Truly Remarkable: Workshops: Preceding the main event, we hosted enlightening workshops, equipping participants with invaluable insights and skills. Inter-School and Inter-University Hackathons: The hackathons brought together brilliant minds from various educational institutions, creating an atmosphere of intense competition and camaraderie. Over 300 Registrations: The overwhelming response from the coding community was humbling. Over 300 registrations showcased the immense enthusiasm and passion for coding. Awards Ceremony: The climax of PYHACK 2.0 was the grand awards ceremony, where we celebrated the coding champions. It was a moment of pride, recognition, and applause. Panel Discussion with Leading Women in STEM: To inspire the next generation, we had a thought-provoking panel discussion featuring leading ladies in the STEM field. Their insights and experiences left everyone inspired and motivated. PYHACK 2.0 was more than just a competition; it was a journey of exploration, learning, and empowerment. PYHACK 2.0 Encompassed Four Distinct Sessions: Python Coding Workshop: (29th of August 2023) - Conducted by Mr. Teran Subasinghe, the Python coding workshop served as a comprehensive learning experience, imparting valuable knowledge and fostering a strong foundation in coding. Inter-University Hybrid Coding Competition: (2nd of September 2023) - The hybrid coding competition for inter-university students set a unique precedent, welcoming participants both physically and virtually. Hosted exclusively on Hackerrank, it showcased participants' coding acumen, offering a platform for them to excel in a challenging environment. Inter-School Coding Competition: (3rd of September 2023) - The inter-school coding competition provided a dynamic platform for young talents to exhibit their coding skills. Similar to the inter-university competition, it was hosted on Hackerrank to ensure fairness and uniformity. Grand Award Ceremony: (16th of September 2023) - The pinnacle of PYHACK 2.0 featured a prestigious award ceremony with the following structured agenda: - Commencement with the Opening Ceremony - An Enlightening Panel Discussion - A Scheduled Break for networking and reflection - The Distinguished Award Ceremony - The Revenant Closing Ceremony PYHACK 2.0 encompassed these four distinguished sessions, each contributing to a formal, enriching, and knowledge-filled coding experience.
