"It is a well-known fact that the presence of female designers in the industry today is limited. With a commitment to celebrating the underrepresented female graphic designers, empowering women, and fostering innovation, WIE UWU has introduced Ruwathi Yuwathiya, the first-ever girls-only Vector Art Design Competition. This initiative stands as a remarkable testament to our passion for creating balance in the various fields we operate in, while also acknowledging the talent within female undergraduates of both private and state universities. Focusing on vector art, "Ruwathi Yuwathiya" provides a platform for creative young women to broaden their horizons in the field of design. Apparently this event had an experience sharing session within the executive committee members which improved the rapport between the committee members.
