The second day of MoraForesight 1.0 unfolded as a captivating continuation of the technological journey, relocating to Citrus, Waskaduwa. Students got ready for an exciting day of learning Robotics. RoboticGen conducted a series of robotics workshops guiding students through a transformative journey from the foundational principles of robotics to the intricacies of advanced concepts. Mr. Deepana Ishtaweera, the founder of RoboticGen and a proud alumni of University of Moratuwa, set the tone for the workshop series through the ‘Introduction to Robotics’ session which was followed by another 3 valuable sessions on 'Robotics Components 101 - A Beginner's Guide,' 'Optimizing Line Follower Robots,' and 'Navigating Complex Mazes’ which were conducted by Mr. Sahan Gunasekara, Mr. Yasantha Niroshan, and Mr. Seniru Dissanayaka from the RoboticGen team. After completing the workshops, students had the opportunity to showcase their knowledge in a robotics competition, with winners receiving prizes from RoboticsGen. These activities fostered skill development, teamwork, and the exploration of their creative ideas.
