Description
The IEEEXtreme 17.0, which we hosted at our university, achieved a record-breaking success with over 350 registrations, making us number one in Sri Lanka and fifth globally in terms of registrations. As part of our Odyssey event series, we organized workshops and insightful sessions aimed at enhancing our students' knowledge and preparing them to face the global hackathon, IEEEXtreme 17.0. Additionally, as a new initiative, we organized a mini hackathon called "PrologueX," which played a crucial role in their preparations for IEEEXtreme 17.0. This hybrid event saw the participation of over 190 students in person and the remainder virtually via Zoom, all successfully supervised by our dedicated proctors.
