The BiomedVoyage competition is a multi-phase initiative designed to engage medical enthusiasts in activities such as medical image processing, analysis, and the development of innovative healthcare solutions. The event is proposed to be held on two days physically with different activities aligned with a treasure hunt on medical knowledge. The sessions are as follows: A summarized lecture on medical image processing and analysis will be ready for the participants. Then the teams will receive patient scenarios with unique medical restrictions, prompting them to decide on suitable diagnostic imaging techniques. Then the teams will be given to analyze medical images of patients with specific diseases, deducing symptoms and potential diagnoses. Teams will have to delve into research papers provided and data related to different patients' diseases, summarizing details and presenting diagnostic and therapeutic treatments. After a month, teams will have to reconvene to propose innovative solutions for their assigned patient through a formal proposal paper and pitch their ideas to a panel of judges after one week.
