The IEEE Volunteering Awareness Session, organized by the IEEE Student Branch of KDU in collaboration with IEEE KDU PES, IEEE KDU ComSoc, IEEE KDU CS, and IEEE KDU EMBS, marked a significant milestone in the journey of cultivating a vibrant community of volunteers. The session, attended by undergraduates from Intake 38, Intake 39, and Intake 40 across the faculties of Computing and Engineering, brought together the executive committees of all collaborating IEEE chapters. Chairman, Buddhila Siriwardena and Event Coordinator Sachith Liyanage gave a comprehensive understanding to all telecommunication enthusiasts about the importance of being a part of the IEEE community and the benefits they can obtain through that. The session served as an invaluable platform for both fresh volunteers and those seeking a deeper understanding of IEEE. It aimed to elevate insights, bridging the gap for those with limited knowledge about IEEE and its diverse opportunities.
