The "Walking Together" project, organized by the IEEE Computer Society at the University of Kelaniya, was a heartwarming initiative that brought together the university community to celebrate Children's and Elders' Day while honoring the unsung heroes of our campus – the dedicated cleaning and security staff and their families. This unique project aimed to bridge generational gaps and foster a sense of togetherness and appreciation. It recognized the invaluable contributions of the cleaning and security staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to maintain the university's environment and safety.
