Interfuse'23 is an event organized by the Women in Engineering (WIE) affinity groups of the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) and the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU). It promotes STEM education, inclusivity, and empowers women in these fields. The event features a technical session with a guest speaker, fun activities for participants to bond and learn in a supportive environment, and gift distribution to recognize and appreciate participants' achievements and contributions. Interfuse'23 aims to create a more inclusive and vibrant STEM community by connecting and collaborating with students, professionals, and experts. Our Objectives: Interfuse'23 aims to bridge the knowledge division between emerging STEM enthusiasts and the forefront of scientific and technological advancements. We strive to provide a clear pathway for students and aspiring professionals to transition seamlessly from academia to the industry. Interfuse'23 encourages the entrepreneurial spirit among attendees by showcasing how STEM innovations can lead to entrepreneurial opportunities. We aim to inspire participants to explore and pursue entrepreneurial ventures in STEM-related fields. Our event is committed to equipping students with the necessary resources, knowledge, and networks to turn their STEM ideas into actionable projects. We aim to empower them to bring their innovative concepts to life.
