Minutes & Notes Manodya welcomed the executive committee members to the meeting and briefed the outline for the day. Next, the previous meeting minutes were presented by Tharaka Munasinghe. Gobiga Rajalingam proposed that the meeting minutes are in order and Thimeth Perera seconded it. Next up, Thimeth Perera present an update on the progress related to the volunteer training program which is organized as a collective effort of YPSL and SLSAC. The event plan, time line was elaborately explained and the purpose of the event was presented during his presentation. Since the Excom members did not have any questions, Manodya continued to update the audience on the MOU signed with the Trace expert city, especially highlighting the benefits YPSl is getting through it. Furthermore, he emphasized that YPSL is expected to support Trace’s initiatives, and need to recognize them as the eco system partner at all events conducted by YPSL. Dhammika Marasinghe suggested that a softcopy of the MOU shared with the Excom. Furthermore, the budget of the volunteer training was extensively discussed as YP local activity fund should be used for NextStep. It was suggested to do a feedback cycle focusing on volunteer onboarding experience within the next two weeks. Volunteer Engagement standing committee is to be initiating the feedback cycle with the support from the People management standing committee.
