The Innovation Nation Sri Lanka North Western Province organized a workshop to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week 23. After that, we designed flyers and wrote captions, and letters. We shared our first flyer about the event on 14 th November 2023. The registration form was shared on 15 th November 2023. 45 were registered to the workshop. However, 30 participated.. IEEE Innovation Nation Sri Lanka North Western Province successfully completed the workshop one and two which we talked about the The Problem Factory: Finding investable ideas and The Pitch Deck - Storytelling Fundamentals in order to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship week 23.This was held on the 18 th November 2023 started from 6.00 pm as a virtual event.28 participants has joined to the workshop . Dinusha Lakmini who is the moderator started the event by giving the introduction. The online workshop started and the welcome speech was done by Mr.Pavithra Mihiraj Co- chair person of IEEE Innovation Nation Sri Lanka North Western Province.Mr. Manjula Wickramasinghe who is the head of the department and senior lecturer, at the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Technology Wayamba University of Sri Lanka was the keynote speaker for the event. He talked about Workshop 1: The Problem Factory: Finding investable ideas - Find the problem - Define the problem - Idea generation - How to address “What is?”, “What if?” and “What wows?” - Define what it means to be an entrepreneur, risk and rewards Workshop 2: The Pitch Deck - Storytelling Fundamentals - Create the pitch deck - Tools for creating the pitch deck - Pitch Deck examples and breakdown - Create a video pitch After Mr.Manjula explained about those topics there was a Q & A session . Many participants asked different questions and our moderator guided the session by asking those questions from Mr. Manjula.After that the vote of thanks was given by Shalini Rashmika the Secretary of IEEE Innovation Nation Sri Lanka North Western Province .With this the event has come to the end. Before ending ,the token of appreciation has given to our honourable speaker Mr.Manjula Wickramasinghe.
