The IEEE Student Branch of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka proudly presented 'IEEE - අඬහැරය | 2023,' an event steeped in the vibrant 'Banis Kema - Aurudu Sports' theme. Held on April 11th, 2023, at 7:00 PM, this was the second historical event organized by the Membership Development Subcommittee of the Student Activity Committee of the IEEE Sri Lanka Section. Marking a new chapter in collaborative engagement, 'IEEE - අඬහැරය' brought together all student branches across the island for a simultaneous virtual gathering, echoing the spirit of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year's sports traditions. This momentous occasion not only raised awareness about the value and benefits of IEEE membership but also encouraged non-members to join the community and actively collaborate with the Student Branch.
