Description

The Annual General Meeting of the IEEE Communication Society Student Branch Chapter of University of Moratuwa and the appointment of the executive committee for the term 2023/24 was held on 18th September 2023 from 5.10pm to 5.45pm. The AGM was held online via zoom platform with the participation of IEEE Communication Society Student Branch Chapter advisor Dr. Tharaka Samarasinghe. First, the welcome speech was done by Mr. Oshan Jayawardena, chairman of the IEEE ComSoc student branch chapter for the term 2022/2023. Then the advisor 's speech was delivered by Dr. Tharaka Samarasinghe. The minutes of the annual general meeting 2022 was presented by Mr. Pavithra Wella Arachchi. The annual financial report was presented by Mr. Nimesh Kavshal. The annual report for the term was presented by Mr. Pavithra Wella Arachchi. Afterwards, the election and appointment for positions in the executive committee of the IEEE Communication Society Student Branch Chapter for term 2023/24 was called by the chairman, Mr. Oshan Jayawardena. After that, the newly appointed chairman of the IEEE Communication Society Student Branch Chapter of University of Moratuwa, Mr. Kithdara Ranasinghe addressed the audience with the upcoming targets for the term 2023/2024 .
