The IEEE - Sri Lanka Robotics Meetup is an IEEE Event Organized by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Sri Lanka Section Chapter in Partnership with the IEEE Sri Lanka Section. Dr. Tamon Miyake was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1992. He received his M.S. degree and Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering, from Waseda University, Japan, in 2017 and 2020, respectively. He received the Research Fellowship for Young Scientists (DC2) from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). He is a Junior Researcher at Future Robotics Organization, Waseda University. His research interests mainly include state estimation and human-robot interaction. Dr. Tamon Miyake's session will include a Gait training robot and Caring motion generation with a general-purpose humanoid robot.
