The Annual General Meeting for the year 2024 of the IEEE WIE Student Branch Affinity Group at the University of Peradeniya was successfully concluded on January 19, 2024, at the Seminar Room of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. During the event, recognition was extended to the previous term committee members for their dedicated service, followed by the appointment of new office bearers for the upcoming term. Professor Maheshi Dissanayake, the advisor of the IEEE WIE SB AG at UOp, addressed the gathering, providing insights into both the preceding term and the expectations for the forthcoming one.
