Description
"CYPHER" stands as a testament to our commitment to fostering a vibrant coding community in Sri Lanka, and the overwhelming success of the inaugural event has ignited our passion to reach greater heights with "CYPHER 2.0." As we embark on this exciting journey, our vision is to create an event that not only challenges the intellect but also sparks the imagination of participants, paving the way for a digital revolution. "CYPHER 2.0" is not just a competition; it's an immersive experience designed to push the boundaries of coding and ethical hacking. With the enthusiastic participation of teams from universities across Sri Lanka, we aim to transform this virtual arena into a dynamic space for collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange. This year, we're introducing an innovative pre-event awareness session featuring esteemed speakers in the field of cybersecurity. This session is more than just an introduction; it's a gateway to the world of possibilities that "CYPHER 2.0" holds. By equipping participants with insights from industry experts, we aim to enhance their understanding and enthusiasm for the challenges that await them. Building on the success of last year, " CYPHER 2.0" will feature two dynamic categories: Capture The Flag (CTF) and Hackathon as same as the last year. These categories promise to test participants' skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities in the thrilling realms of cybersecurity and coding excellence. Objectives: 1. To introduce undergraduates to CTFs and hackathons. 2. To facilitate networking and knowledge-sharing among university students. 3. To enhance participants' hacking, coding, and problem-solving skills. 4. To cultivate a problem-solving mindset through diverse challenges. 5. To provide an interactive learning environment for hands-on experience. 6. To encourage collaboration and teamwork among participants. 7. To promote cross-university collaboration for diverse perspectives. 8. To inspire innovation and creative problem-solving approaches. 9. To emphasize the practical application of theoretical knowledge. 10. To build a community interested in ethical hacking and coding.
