The world's rapid advancement, especially since the industrial revolution, has made knowledge and networking powerful. Innovative thinking and a group of experts are essential for survival in the market. IEEE members prioritize strengthening relationships with their members, encouraging information exchange and creative ideas, as the world continues to progress for the better. The IEEE Sri Lanka Section has recommended the organization of a Mini-Congress called Jambor IEEE to enhance networking and exchange experiences among IEEE members. As per the instructions of Student Activities Committee of IEEE Sri Lanka Section (IEEE SLAC), organized a Mini-Congress with Sri Lanka University of Vocational Technology and Open University, to strengthen the network with experts and share useful experiences for all IEEEs. This program is a great opportunity for all undergraduates and people who are interested in IEEE. also, this session helps to gain valuable experience, strengthen our relationships and exchange information between IEEE members and other universities. This is a program includes experiences sharing sessions, entertainment programs, simple activities and interesting sessions about modern technology. This program was held in 10th of September 2023 at 8.30 am - 12.00 pm at Auditorium of University of vocational Technology premises. IEEE jambor2023 was conduct under the supervision of Dr. R.L.W Koggalage Counsellor and Senior Tresure of IEEE Student Branch and Senior Lecturer of faculty of Engineering Technology of UoVT, with the permission of Professor C. Mahesh Edirisinghe Vice Chancellor of the UoVT, Mrs. N. Diyabedanage Director General of the UoVT and Dr. Jayalal Wetthasinghe Dean and Senior Lecturer of faculty of Engineering technology of UoVT. The event, a collaboration between the University of Vocational Technology and Open University of Sri Lanka, included sessions on membership development, interactive, and entertainment. Membership development session was held in two categories as Importance of the IEEE and membership and IEEE membership experiences with participants.
