The Annual General Meeting for the term 2023/2024 of IEEE UWU Student Branch was held with the participation of the Student Branch Counsellor, Prof. Sandya Kumari, Chairs, Secretaries, and Treasurers from the IEEE Uva Wellassa University Student Branch, the WIE Affinity Group of IEEE UWU SB, IEEE RAS UWU SB Chapter, and IEEE IAS UWU SB Chapter. The SB chair welcomed all the members, updated members on completed projects, awards received, and progress made, followed by the Secretary delivering the meeting minutes. The SB Treasurer presented the budget report for the term. Subsequently, the Student Branch Counsellor, Prof. Sandya Kumari, delivered her speech, and new members were appointed for the term 2023/2024 including the Student Branch Chapters. Following the appointments, the head table seats were taken over by the newly appointed Student Branch Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer. The new SB chair then delivered his speech, outlining his plans for advancing the student branch during his term and revealing anticipated projects. The meeting concluded with a thank-you speech from the newly appointed Student Branch Secretary, leaving members anticipating the next term's progress.
