IEEE Sri Lanka Section Student Branch Officer Training, Counselor Meeting, and Volunteer Appreciation 2024 was held on 23rd March 2024 at the University of Sri Jayawardenapura, Sri Lanka. The event focused on giving the Student Branch Executive Committee training on the Student Branch Operations along with the best practices they require to maintain. The event is scheduled to be held every year, training all the Executive Committee members of a Student Branch, that comes for a particular year. The event included sessions for, Hierarchy of a Student Branch vTools; What they are and how to use them Finance handling and management IEEE Sri Lanka Section and its identity IEEE Sri Lanka Section Student Branch Counselor Meeting Volunteer Appreciation 2023 The IEEE Student Branch Counselor meeting was held to understand the role of a Student Branch Counselor and how they could better help their Student Branch with operations. The Volunteer Appreciation recognized the hard work and commitment made towards the IEEE Sri Lanka Section by Student volunteers through the Student Activities Committee, Young Professionals Sri Lanka, Women in Engineering, and the Special Interest Group for Humanitarian Technology.
