The INSL Finals was a landmark event that brought together the brightest minds and industry leaders for an enriching day of competition, networking, and innovation. The Entrepreneurship - Idea and Business Stage Competitions provided a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to showcase their groundbreaking ideas and fully developed business models. This event was designed to support the startup community in Sri Lanka by offering comprehensive training, mentoring, and financial support, ultimately fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among Sri Lankan youth. The competition scope included a diverse range of projects, from cutting-edge tech solutions to transformative business models, highlighting the ingenuity and potential of the participants. The panel of final judges included distinguished experts from various fields: Professor Rangika Halwathura, Professor of the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Moratuwa; Mr. Shehan Selvanayagam, Founder and Managing Director of Loops Integrated; Mr. Fayaz Hudah, Co-Founder of Spiralation; and Ms. Vindya Jayawickrama, Senior Innovation Officer at the National Innovation Agency. Following the intense final pitches, a Networking Session was conducted by Mr. Newan Vinthusa, Founder and CEO of Code94 Labs; Mr. Shohan Kulasuriya, Founder and CEO of Deegenics Pvt Ltd; and the panel of judges. This session was a pivotal part of the event, providing a valuable opportunity for participants to connect with industry leaders and gain insights into the world of innovation and entrepreneurship. The INSL Finals proved to be a truly inspiring and impactful day for all attendees.
