The “WIE Ruwathi Yuwathiya” Design Competition, organized by the WIE UWU , empowers female designers and addresses gender disparities in the arts. This year, we focused on the latest trending topic of AI-generated images, with the theme being nature and landscapes. The competition was structured in two phases: public voting and expert judging. This approach ensured that a wide range of opinions contributed to the selection process, celebrating individuality and inclusivity. This year, we had 25 talented participants who showcased their creativity and technical skills. After a rigorous selection process, two winners were chosen by a panel of judges. These winners received cash prizes, recognizing their outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of design. The competition not only highlighted the incredible talent of female designers but also underscored the potential of AI in creative fields.
