On October 2nd, 2023, the Faculty of Computing at the University of Knowledge (UOK) hosted a landmark event: the IEEE Xtreme 17.0 Awareness Session in conjunction with NexXtreme 1.0. This event marked a significant milestone as it aimed to prepare and excite students for the upcoming IEEE Xtreme 17.0, a prestigious 24-hour global programming marathon. The evening was highlighted by an engaging session led by Mr. Indrajith Ekanayake, a dynamic speaker renowned for his extensive experience in the tech industry. Participants were treated to valuable insights and practical tips for excelling in the competition. The event featured interactive coding challenges and competitions, providing a hands-on experience to hone their skills.
