National Volunteer Call 2024: Educating About Application Procedures

Description
In a meeting commencing at 8:05 p.m., the IEEE UWU SB convened to explore various IEEE Sri Lanka Section Student Activities Committee (SAC) positions and national projects. Led by the current chairperson, Mr Kavindra Weerasinghe, the gathering commenced with a warm welcome to all attendees, followed by insightful presentations from members highlighting the roles and initiatives of different SAC positions, including the Women in Engineering (WIE) affinity group and Techverse. Additionally, introductions to IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka (YPSL) and its national projects were provided, along with an overview of the SL SIGHT affinity group by the chairperson of the Computer Society. The session concluded with a question and answer segment, fostering engagement and collaboration among volunteers, before adjourning at 9:30 p.m.
