CodeSprint 8 - Startup Phase Workshop which was held on the 9th of June 2024 was primarily aimed at the top 10 final teams who would be advancing towards the Grand Finale. The workshop was an enriching experience designed to equip participants with essential skills for entrepreneurial success. The event featured three insightful sessions, each focusing on a crucial aspect of building and sustaining a successful business. The first session by Mr Sheran Corera, "Customer Cash Flow: Proven Tactics to Land Your First Paying Client," provided practical strategies and actionable insights to help participants secure their initial clients. This session covered effective techniques for identifying potential customers, crafting compelling pitches, and closing deals, ensuring attendees left with a clear roadmap to generate early revenue. In the second session by Mr Sushena Ranathunga,"Building a Sustainable Business for Long-Term Success," shifted the focus on creating a resilient business model. Participants learned about sustainable growth strategies, financial planning, and operational efficiency. The session emphasized the importance of building a strong foundation to ensure business longevity and scalability. The workshop concluded with the session, "The Art of Storytelling in Fundraising," by Mr Fayaz Hudah where attendees discovered the power of narrative in securing funding. This session highlighted how to craft and deliver compelling stories that resonate with investors and stakeholders. Participants were taught to convey their business vision and impact effectively, making their pitches more persuasive and memorable. Overall, the workshop provided a holistic view of the entrepreneurial journey, combining practical advice with inspirational insights to empower participants in their business ventures.
