IDP Expo is the Individual Design Project exhibition of the students following the degree programs Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering in their 3rd year at General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University. The exhibition was a collaborative effort between IEEE Power and Energy Society and IEEE Communications Society of KDU. The distinguished judge panel of the exhibition consisted of academic professionals of KDU, 1. Dr.Buddhitha Hettige 2. Mr. IUE Nautunna 3. Squadron Leader TGT Peiris. The winners of the competition were awarded with a certificate of achievement and cash prizes. All other participants too received certificates. The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Professor Thushara Weerawardhana graced the occasion along with the Rector of the Kurunegala Campus of KDU, Commodore Ruwan Rupasena.
