MicroMaze - Awareness Session

On July 13th, 2024, an Awareness Session was held from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM to offer participants a thorough understanding of the upcoming MicroMaze event. The session served as a platform to deliver an in-depth overview of the event’s structure and to clarify the competition’s rules and regulations. Key components of the session included a detailed explanation of the criteria for evaluating top contenders, ensuring that participants were well-informed about the expectations and standards to be met. This comprehensive review was designed to equip teams with the necessary insights to excel in the competition. In addition, the session provided specific guidelines on the development of the micromouse, with a focus on the robot’s structural and functional aspects. Participants were given clear instructions on the essential features that their robots should incorporate, aligning with the competition's requirements. A brief yet informative introduction to the esteemed judging panel was also presented, offering participants a glimpse into the expertise that will evaluate their work. The session was well-attended, with approximately 100 participants representing various teams from diverse backgrounds. The strong turnout highlighted the interest and enthusiasm surrounding the competition. Participants were allocated a period of approximately one month from the session date to finalize the design and development of their micromouse robots, allowing ample time for innovation and refinement. The session was deemed a success, effectively laying the groundwork for a competitive and engaging MicroMaze event. The knowledge and clarity provided during the session are expected to contribute significantly to the overall quality and competitiveness of the entries.
