On July 7th, 2024, an informative Awareness Session was held to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of the Xplorer treasure hunt event. The session, which took place from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM, aimed to familiarize attendees with the event’s structure, rules, and expectations. Key components of the session included: Event Overview : A detailed introduction to Xplorer, highlighting its unique format as a tech-based treasure hunt spread across several iconic locations in Colombo. Participants were given insight into the adventure that would challenge their problem-solving, coding, and exploration skills. Challenge Details : An explanation of the different categories and challenges, including the Treasure Hunt, Scenic Exploration, and Cyber Hunt. The session clarified the specific tasks and objectives for each category, providing participants with a clear understanding of what to expect. Prizes and Recognition : The session outlined the prize structure, including cash rewards for top teams and vouchers for notable achievements, motivating participants to put forth their best efforts. Q&A and Interaction : Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification on various aspects of the event, ensuring they were well-prepared and informed. The session was attended by approximately 180 participants from diverse backgrounds, reflecting strong interest and enthusiasm for the Xplorer event.
