IEEE Excursion - Day Out

On July 28th, IEEE members enjoyed a fantastic day out that combined entertainment, dining, and sports. The day began with an exciting 9:30 AM movie screening of Deadpool & Wolverine at PVR. The film proved to be an exhilarating and engaging experience, with its blend of humor, action, and dynamic characters capturing everyone's attention and keeping the group entertained. Following the movie, we headed to One Galle Face Mall Food Studio for a delightful lunch. The diverse food options provided something for everyone, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal together while chatting about the movie and catching up. The day concluded with a spirited game of futsal, where the group spent two hours on the court. The match was full of energy and laughter, showcasing the team spirit and camaraderie among IEEE members. Overall, the IEEE excursion was a tremendous success, offering a well-rounded experience of entertainment, good food, and active engagement. After a series of back-to-back events and intense activities, this day out provided much-needed stress relief and relaxation. It was a wonderful opportunity for members to unwind and bond outside the usual meetings, making it a memorable day full of laughter, connection, and shared enjoyment. The break from routine and the chance to engage in leisurely activities allowed everyone to recharge and strengthen their camaraderie in a fun and relaxed setting.
