An insightful awareness session was conducted on the 26th of July 2024 through Zoom, aimed at familiarizing attendees with the mission and activities of the IEEE Student Branch of IIT. During the session, the chairperson of the IEEE Student Branch of IIT, Sanuda Kannangara, delivered an informative briefing, highlighting the various events organized by the student branch, it's chapters and the significant achievements accomplished so far. These accomplishments reflect the dedication and collective effort of the current executive board and members. Additionally, an important announcement was made regarding the upcoming opening of nominations for the new executive board, which is set to take place within the following week. This upcoming election represents an opportunity for fresh leadership to build on the foundation laid by the current board, ensuring the continued growth and success of the student branch. Participants were given the opportunity to ask any questions in order to gain more clarity regarding the events organized by the student branch.
