Description

The IEEE Student Branch of IIT recently held interviews over the course of two days, 3rd of August and 4th of August, to select the executive committee for the 2025 term. The positions being filled included chairperson, vice chairperson, secretary, assistant secretary, treasurer, webmaster, and chapter coordinator. During the interviews, the current executive board members posed situational questions to assess how the applicants would navigate various challenges. In addition, each candidate was required to deliver a 10-minute presentation, where they outlined their goals for the upcoming term and detailed the strategies they would implement to propel the branch's success. The selection process attracted over 22 applicants, with 7 shortlisted candidates moving forward to participate in the ballot, allowing IEEE student members of IIT to vote for their preferred candidate to be elected to each position.
