MicroMaze - Finale Round

The MicroMaze Grand Finale took place on the 25th of August, where the top 10 teams faced off in a highly competitive battle for the top three positions. The event was graced by an exceptional panel of judges, including Mr. Ashen Fernando, Senior Electronic Engineer at Zone 24x7; Mr. Bhanuka Dayawansa, Discipline Lead - Mechanical & Mechatronic Engineering at Curtin Colombo; Lieutenant Muditha Ransinghe, Research Officer at Centre for Defense Research & Development, Ministry of Defense. During the finale, each team was allocatted 12 minutes to showcase their skills, experience, and tactical acumen. The competition was intense, with every team demonstrating their best strategies in navigating the complex maze. After a thrilling display of innovation and precision, Team Robotic Gen from the University of Moratuwa emerged as the champions. They were followed closely by Team Jerry 2D2 and Team Raspi Cap, who secured the positions of 1st and 2nd runners-up, respectively. The event concluded on a high note, with positive feedback from both the judges and participating teams. The Grand Finale not only highlighted the exceptional talent and creativity of the competitors but also underscored the spirit of innovation and collaboration that defines the MicroMaze competition.
