What is PREDICTA 1.0? As a pioneering IEEE Student Branch in Sri Lanka, we are excited to introduce our newest flagship competition as an AI Prediction Challenge, Predicta 1.0 . With a novel structure, this competition aims to provide a unique platform for participants to team up and apply their skills, solving real-world challenges and have an exciting experience along the way in AI, ML, and Data Analytics domains. With the main focus on application of AI and Data Science, the new electricity, in real world scenarios, we hope to inspire the participants to explore and experiment for the advancement of technology itself. The IEEE Student Branch of the University of Peradeniya boasts an extensive network that extends beyond the university with which we strive to provide young undergraduates with valuable exposure and opportunities related to their field. Therefore, Predicta 1.0 would be highly beneficial to both undergraduates and industry stakeholders, facilitating meaningful interactions, knowledge sharing, and collaborative opportunities that will also bridge academic and professional environments Our Purpose The purpose of Predicta 1.0 is to bridge the gap between academic learning and real [1] world applications in AI, Machine Learning, and Data Analytics.
