"Road to Ignite" was organized by Let's Talk as part of the IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka, designed to prepare participants for the flagship Ignite Leadership Camp. The series aims to increase awareness of leadership qualities essential for both undergraduates and young professionals, focusing on the skills needed to excel in their careers and personal development. The first session of the series was conducted by Mr. Migara Amithodana, CEO and Co-Founder of MagicBit. During the session, Mr. Amithodana shared his personal journey, detailing the challenges and obstacles he faced in the early stages of building his startup company. His narrative provided valuable insights into the realities of entrepreneurship, emphasizing the importance of resilience, adaptability, and strategic thinking. The session was not only an inspiring story of overcoming difficulties but also a practical guide for young professionals and students aiming to develop their leadership skills. Mr. Amithodana highlighted key lessons from his experience, including the significance of networking, the value of mentorship, and the necessity of continuous learning.
